nablopomo – can i do it?

I am the queen of finding blogs and newsletters that I read once, love, subscribe to by email, and then never – well, make that rarely – ever lay eyes on again. Tonight was one of those nights where I needed something mindless to do, so I started going through the backlog where I found one declaring that November is “National Blog Posting Month” with a challenge to post Every.Single.Day.

I’d already been feeling particularly guilty about my sadly-neglected blog, the last post written over 2 months ago now, (coincidentally, right around the same time that the new semester started – go figure) so I’ve decided to TRY the NaBloPoMo challenge.  Life here has been filled with ups and downs lately… Unfortunately Ithere have been more downs than ups, the biggest of which was the unexpected death of my dad just over 3 weeks ago.  I’m sure the coming months will have stories about him, but first I have to figure out how to do him justice…
